The Butler Public Library is hosting a Dinosaurs and Paleontology night for kids on Thursday, May 28, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. The program is geared toward children in Pre-K through Grade 5 and will take place in the air conditioned Court Room at the library. Attendees should enter through the main entrance at 1 Ace Road in Butler, NJ.
The event is presented by Dinosaurs Rock and will feature an adventure show, a hands-on exhibit, and one take-home fossil per child. The program is sponsored by the Kinnelon-Butler Optimist Club, also known as KBOC, which recently donated $1,450 to the library’s children’s department. A portion of that donation is funding the Dinosaurs Rock program, while the remaining balance will go toward purchasing a new table for the activities room.
Registration is required in advance. Parents can sign up through the Google Forms link on the library’s website at www.butlerlibrary.org.
