Rita’s Italian Ice of Randolph, owned by Naomi Louissant and Vanessa Grant, is ready to make spring and summer 2025 even sweeter for the community. Since opening their first location in Flanders, New Jersey in 2019, the owners have focused on creating a place where families, friends, and neighbors can come together.
“We initially opened our Rita’s in 2019 in Flanders, New Jersey because we loved how it brought people together — families, kids after sports games, people just enjoying a sunny day,” they said. “There’s something nostalgic and joyful about Italian ice. We wanted to bring that feeling to the community.”
The Randolph community, renowned for its active and family-friendly atmosphere, has been the perfect fit. “Morris County, and Randolph especially, has such a great community vibe. It’s family-friendly, active, and people really value supporting local businesses. Plus, Randolph has beautiful parks and a lot of town events that bring everyone together, which makes it a fun place for businesses like Rita’s to be part of,” Vanessa shared.
Beyond serving up refreshing treats, Rita’s stays closely connected to the community. Rita’s Italian Ice actively contributes to communities through charitable initiatives, local engagement, and seasonal events. They sponsor many events and organize fundraisers for local and surrounding communities.
This spring and summer, customers can enjoy special deals through Money Mailer and Randolph Life, including a “buy two quarts of Ice and get one free” offer. Rita’s fans can also download the Rita’s app to start earning points toward free treats, with new members receiving a free small Ice, Custard, or Gelati after their first purchase.
More than just a dessert stop, Rita’s of Randolph has grown into a true community gathering place. With a lively, friendly team made up of many local students, the shop is known for its welcoming atmosphere where regulars are greeted by name.
