Downtown Denville’s biggest day of the year is back. The 43rd Annual Denville Rotary Street Festival takes over Broadway on Sunday, June 7, 2026, from 11 AM to 6 PM, closing the street to traffic and drawing more than 10,000 people for a full afternoon of food, live music, shopping, kids’ rides, and the always-packed beer garden.

Admission is free, and the festival runs rain or shine.

What to Expect at the 2026 Denville Street Festival

For one Sunday every June, Broadway in downtown Denville transforms into one of Morris County’s largest outdoor street fairs. Here is what fills the street from 11 AM to 6 PM:

  • Arts and crafts booths from regional artisans and makers
  • Food vendors lined up along Broadway
  • Retail vendors and unique merchandise
  • Professional and nonprofit information booths
  • Children’s rides and family-friendly activities
  • A live entertainment stage at the corner of Broadway and First Avenue, featuring a DJ and local bands
  • The popular family-friendly beer garden on Center Street, just off Broadway
  • The Rotary’s classic 50/50 raffle

The mix is why annual attendance reliably tops 10,000. There is something here for every age group, and the layout makes it easy to move through the day at your own pace.

A Morris County Tradition Since 1984

The Denville Rotary Street Festival first hit Broadway in 1984 and has grown into the unofficial kickoff to summer in Morris County. At 43 years old, it is one of the longest-running community events in the area, and its staying power comes down to one thing: it consistently delivers a great Sunday afternoon in downtown Denville, year after year.

Where the Money Goes

The Denville Rotary Club organizes and runs the festival every year, and all net proceeds go directly back into the community. Funds support Rotary Club scholarships for local students, Denville’s beloved Santa Land holiday display, and worldwide humanitarian causes through Rotary International.

Showing up and spending the day is the easiest way to support all of it.

Directions and Parking for the Denville Street Festival

Broadway in downtown Denville closes to traffic for the festival, so plan to park nearby and walk in. The closest public lot is off Bloomfield Avenue, just off NJ-53/East Main Street.

Driving from the east: Take I-80E to exit 38, merge onto US-46 E, turn right onto NJ-53 N/E Main St, then take the first right onto Bloomfield Ave. The parking lot is on the right.

Driving from the west: Take I-80W to exit 39, merge onto US-46 E, turn right onto NJ-53 N/E Main St, then take the first right onto Bloomfield Ave.

By train: Take NJ Transit’s Morris & Essex Line to the Denville stop. Walk east on Estling Lake Rd, turn left on Main St for about 0.7 miles, then turn right on Broadway.

Look for the canopies, you cannot miss it.
