The Just Jersey Fest food truck and music festival rolls into Chester on Saturday, August 8, 2026, taking over Municipal Field at 134 Main Street from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is $5, children under 5 get in free, and dogs are welcome.
It is one of the last big outdoor food festivals of the Morris County summer, and it doubles as a fundraiser for two local causes.
Food trucks, a beverage garden, and family fun
More than a dozen gourmet food trucks will line the field with everything from savory plates to sweets and cold treats. A beer, sangria, and margarita garden gives the grown-ups a place to relax, while kids activities and a lineup of craft and marketplace vendors round out the day. Bring a lawn chair, come hungry, and plan to stay a while.
Three live bands from open to close
Music plays straight through the afternoon. Almost Autumn opens things up at 11 a.m., Mr. LoveJoy takes over around 1 p.m., and Captains of Leisure close out the day starting at 4 p.m.
A festival with a cause
Proceeds from the day benefit the Chester First Aid Squad and the Chester/Mendham Food Pantry. Organizers ask that everyone bring a non-perishable canned or boxed item to donate to the pantry on their way in.
