Students from the Design Academy at the Morris County School of Technology recently participated in a community initiative as part of Pink Witches Night Out, an annual event hosted by the Kathy Olenowski Foundation in Downtown Denville.

As part of their involvement, the students painted windows on multiple businesses throughout Denville to raise awareness for the event. Pink Witches Night Out is a long-standing community event that supports breast cancer awareness.
The Kathy Olenowski Foundation, which organizes the event, was established in memory of Kathy Olenowski, a Denville business owner who passed away in 2011 after battling thyroid cancer. The foundation, led by her daughters Meg and Cait Olenowski, continues to honor her memory and promote causes related to cancer awareness.
Pink Witches Night Out has become an important community event in Denville. It raises awareness for breast cancer and highlights the community’s ongoing dedication to this important cause.
