Morristown Restaurant Week is the spring week when restaurants across downtown Morristown roll out prix fixe menus, lunch and dinner specials, coupons and one-off events. It is produced every year by the Morristown Partnership, the town’s downtown business improvement district, and it is the easiest excuse of the year to try the place you keep walking past.
When Is Morristown Restaurant Week?
Restaurant Week runs in the spring, Monday through Friday. The most recent edition, the 16th, ran Monday, April 20 through Friday, April 24, 2026. The Morristown Partnership has not announced the 2027 dates yet. Participating restaurants are usually added starting in early March, with the list updated right up to the week itself, so March is when to start checking. We will update this page as soon as the 2027 dates are confirmed.
How It Works
There is no ticket or pass for the main event. You pick a participating restaurant and order off its Restaurant Week offer, which can be a prix fixe lunch or dinner menu, a coupon, a special promotion or an in-house event. Each restaurant sets its own deal, so the offers vary a lot from place to place. Participating spots display the Restaurant Week window decal and posters, and the full list with each restaurant’s promotion is posted on the Morristown Partnership’s Restaurant Week page.
In 2026, 41 businesses took part, ranging from sit-down dinner spots like Roots Steakhouse, The Grand Café, Chef Fredy’s Table, Agricola Eatery and TOWN Bar + Kitchen to casual stops like Central Taqueria, Dublin Pub, Let’s Noodle and Mega BBQ, plus dessert and coffee places including Beenie’s Ice Cream, Enjou Chocolat and Kirshenbaum Baking Co.
Snack, Sip and Stroll
The one ticketed piece of Restaurant Week is Snack, Sip and Stroll, a progressive dining night. Guests visit four participating restaurants in one neighborhood in a single evening, with a curated tasting at each stop. In 2026 there were two nights, a Speedwell Avenue stroll and a Morris Street stroll, at $85 per person per night, sold on Eventbrite. The Morris Street night sold out, so if a stroll is the plan, buy as soon as tickets go on sale.
The April Gift Certificate Giveaway
Leading into Restaurant Week, the Morristown Partnership runs a month-long gift certificate giveaway through April. In 2026, anyone who ate at a Morristown restaurant, posted a photo of the meal on Facebook or Instagram and tagged the restaurant and the Morristown Partnership was entered. Five winners a week received $100 in Morristown Partnership gift certificates, and one grand prize winner received $500.
Tips for Making the Most of It
Book dinner reservations early at the popular sit-down spots, since the prix fixe menus pull in people from all over Morris County. Lunch deals are the quieter, cheaper way to try a pricier restaurant. Downtown Morristown is walkable, so park once in a municipal garage or lot and move between the Green, South Street, Morris Street and Speedwell Avenue on foot.
