Philly Pretzel Factory is coming to Morris County. The pretzel shop that has served Hackettstown for more than 13 years is moving to the Roxbury Mall at 275 Route 10 East in Succasunna, and the owners are targeting January 2027 for the reopening, according to the store’s announcement on Facebook.
For Roxbury, Succasunna, Ledgewood and Kenvil, that puts soft pretzels, rivets and pretzel dogs right on the Route 10 corridor, a few minutes from Horseshoe Lake and the Roxbury shopping strip.
Where the New Philly Pretzel Factory Will Be
- Location: Roxbury Mall, 275 Route 10 East, Succasunna (Roxbury Township)
- Target opening: January 2027
- Moving from: 150 Mountain Avenue, Hackettstown
- Exact opening date: not announced yet
The owners called the move a relocation, not a goodbye, and said they cannot wait to bring the same Philly-style pretzels to the new spot. We will update this post once a firm opening date is set.
Free Pretzel Day on Sunday, November 1
Before the move, the Hackettstown shop is throwing a thank-you. Sunday, November 1, 2026 is its last day on Mountain Avenue, and the owners are handing out a free pretzel to every customer who stops in to celebrate 13 and a half years in town. If you live in western Morris County, Hackettstown is a short drive down Route 46, and it is a nice way to say hello to the team before they set up in Succasunna.
What to Order
Philly Pretzel Factory is known for its twisted soft pretzels baked throughout the day, plus rivets (bite-size pretzel nuggets), pretzel dogs, dips and party trays that show up at a lot of office meetings and kids’ birthday parties. You can browse the full lineup on the Philly Pretzel Factory menu, and the party tray options are worth a look if you host for the holidays.
