The Mendham Players, the theater company at West Morris Mendham High School, are bringing Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice to the stage for three performances this November: Thursday, November 12, 2026, at 6:30 PM, Friday, November 13, 2026, at 6:30 PM, and a Saturday matinee on November 14, 2026, at 2:00 PM. All three shows take place at the high school, 65 East Main Street in Mendham.

This is the Players’ fall drama, and it is a stage version of one of the most loved novels in the English language. First published in 1813, Pride and Prejudice follows Elizabeth Bennet, her sisters and their mother as they navigate love, money and first impressions, with the famously proud Mr. Darcy right in the middle of it all. It is a story full of wit, romance and sharp dialogue, and a classic many families already know and love.

Tickets are general admission at $18 plus a $1.58 service fee, and they are on sale now through the Mendham Players’ Pride and Prejudice ticket page on BookTix. Online sales stay open through 6:30 PM on Saturday, November 14. Because seating is general admission, we suggest arriving a little early to grab the seats you want, especially for the Saturday matinee.

West Morris Mendham High School is part of the West Morris Regional High School District, and the Mendham Players are its student theater group. You can learn more about the group at the Mendham Players website, and the troupe is also on Instagram at @mendham_players. Questions about the show can go to the school at 973-543-2501.

Supporting a high school production is one of the easiest ways to have a great night out close to home while cheering on local students. If you are making an evening of it, Mendham’s Main Street has plenty of spots for dinner before the 6:30 PM shows. Our guide to things to do in Mendham, NJ covers where to eat and what to see in town, and you can find more local plays, concerts and festivals on our list of things to do in Morris County this month.

Pride and Prejudice runs Thursday, November 12, and Friday, November 13, 2026, at 6:30 PM, and Saturday, November 14, 2026, at 2:00 PM at West Morris Mendham High School, 65 East Main Street, Mendham, NJ 07945. Tickets are $18 plus fees through BookTix.
