Morris County does not slow down when the temperature drops. From the first tree lightings in early December to the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Morristown and the last swing dance of the season on March 20, we tracked down more than 100 winter events across the county, every one with a confirmed 2026 or 2027 date from the organizer itself.

The list is organized month by month, so you can scroll to the weekend you are planning. Every entry has the date, time, address, price when the organizer lists one, and a link to tickets or details. Looking for the holiday deep dives? We also have guides to Christmas lights in New Jersey, Christmas markets, holiday shows in Morris County and Hanukkah celebrations.

A quick note: many towns post their December tree lightings and their January to March programs late, so this guide will keep growing. Always check the organizer link before heading out, especially when snow is in the forecast.

December is the busiest month of the winter by far, with tree lightings, Santa visits, holiday markets and the Christmas Festival at the Morristown Green. Want to bring home a fresh tree? See our guide to cut-your-own Christmas tree farms.
