Chatham High School’s theater arts program is bringing William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night to the stage for three performances this November: Thursday, November 19, 2026, at 4:30 PM, and Friday, November 20, and Saturday, November 21, 2026, at 7:00 PM. All three shows take place in the Chatham High School Performing Arts Center, 255 Lafayette Avenue in Chatham.
Twelfth Night is one of Shakespeare’s best loved comedies, written around 1601. After a shipwreck, Viola washes ashore in the land of Illyria, disguises herself as a young man named Cesario and goes to work for Duke Orsino. Orsino sends Cesario to win over the Countess Olivia for him, Olivia falls for Cesario instead, and Viola quietly falls for Orsino. Add a long lost twin brother, a prank on the pompous steward Malvolio and plenty of music and mistaken identity, and you have a play that has kept audiences laughing for more than four centuries.
Tickets go on sale Monday, November 2, 2026, at 7:00 AM through the Chatham High School Twelfth Night ticket page on BookTix. Adult tickets are $18 plus a $1.65 service fee, and student and senior citizen tickets are $15 plus a $1.46 service fee. Online sales stay open through noon on Sunday, November 22. Wheelchair seating is available, and box office questions can go to lrusso@chatham-nj.org.

If you are making a night of it before the Friday or Saturday shows, Main Street in Chatham is just minutes away.
