Downtown Morristown has a chocolate shop that turns a quick errand into a full detour. Mindy’s Munchies, the family owned shop at 22 Schuyler Place, hand dips pretzels, OREO cookies, graham crackers, marshmallows and more in milk, white and dark chocolate, and fall is when the store really earns its spot on your list.

The brand started with Mindy Mosca, who began bringing her chocolate covered treats to get-togethers, school functions and home parties while she was pregnant with her first son. That kitchen project grew into a company that has been a favorite for over 20 years, with stores today in Norwood, Midland Park and Morristown in New Jersey, plus Boca Raton, Florida and Falmouth, Maine. Patch first reported in January 2025 that the shop was coming to 22 Schuyler Place, and it has been a sweet stop in downtown Morristown ever since.

The signature item is the hand dipped chocolate gift platter, loaded with chocolate covered pretzels, OREO cookies, graham crackers, marshmallows and assorted clusters. The chocolate covered caramel Oreos pair the classic cookie with gooey caramel and a thick chocolate coat, and the marshmallows can be dipped in white, milk or dark. If you want something newer, the Dubai Delight line comes in Original Pistachio, Cookie Butter, and Almond Butter and Date at $9.99 each. Candy by the pound, gourmet fudge and chocolate covered strawberries round out the counter.

This is the season to plan ahead. Thanksgiving falls on Thursday, November 26, 2026, and Mindy’s Munchies runs a Thanksgiving collection of handmade sweet and savory treats that works as a hostess gift or a dessert table centerpiece. Boxes run $15.50 to $50, platters $25 to $115, and baskets $50 to $200. The Morristown store is closed on Thanksgiving Day, so grab your order earlier in the week. Businesses lining up holiday gifts for clients or staff can go through the shop’s Morristown corporate gifts program, which handles anything from 10 gifts to 1,000.

The store also doubles as a party space. Birthday parties for kids ages 6 and up include chocolate dipping, packaging the treats as party favors, games like Mindy’s Munchies Bingo, make-your-own sundaes, plus pizza, drinks and cupcakes. A $100 non-refundable deposit holds the date. The shop also hosts ladies nights out, Girl Scout meetings and other small get-togethers.

Mindy’s Munchies Morristown is open Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and is closed Sunday and Monday. Call 973-221-0030 to place an order. Because of construction on the street, the shop is offering curbside pickup, and free 15-minute parking is available in the Schuyler Place and Bank Street garage next door. Orders can also be placed online for pickup, local delivery or nationwide shipping.

Making a day of it downtown? Our local’s guide to Morristown covers the Green, the history and where to eat, and the shop is just a few blocks from the Christmas Festival at the Morristown Green on Saturday, November 28, 2026, which makes it an easy stop for a box of treats on the way.
