St. Virgil’s Parish in Morris Plains will mark a major milestone this spring when the annual parish carnival returns from Wednesday, May 6 through Saturday, May 9 to celebrate 50 years of family fun in Morris County.
The carnival will be held on the church grounds at 250 Speedwell Avenue and runs from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM Wednesday through Friday, with extended hours on Saturday from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Visitors can expect rides, midway games, classic carnival food, and a festive atmosphere built for all ages.
To mark the 50th anniversary, organizers are adding extra entertainment throughout the week. A DJ will perform every night, and visits from popular characters including Bluey, Mario, Mickey, and Minnie are scheduled to make appearances on the grounds.
Pay One Price ride wristbands, good for unlimited rides on the day of purchase, will be available at the carnival on Wednesday and Thursday nights, May 6 and May 7. Families looking to save can grab discounted pre-sale ride credits for $30 for 60 credits, a 50 percent discount, available now through Magic Money.
The St. Virgil Parish Carnival has been a Morris Plains tradition for half a century, drawing families from Parsippany, Denville, Morristown, and across Morris County. For ticket purchases, opening night updates, and full event details, visit stvirgilparish.org/carnival.
