One of Rockaway Township’s longest running summer traditions is back. White Meadow Lake Festival Days returns Thursday, July 16 through Sunday, July 19, 2026, bringing four days of rides, races, music, and fireworks to the White Meadow Lake community in its 40-plus year tradition’s latest edition.
The weekend kicks off Thursday night with carnival rides and food vendors running from 5:30 to 10 PM, plus music bingo and a Name That Tune contest. From there the schedule fills up fast: a parade and float contest, an artisan marketplace with dozens of vendors, the festival’s famous 5K around the lake, the ever-popular kayak and canoe race, volleyball and sandcastle contests, and live DJ music throughout the weekend.
This year’s Palooza night features three live acts starting at 7 PM: an acoustic set by Dean Cramp, The John Oakes Band, and the UptownBoogie Band. The whole celebration wraps with the festival’s signature fireworks finale.
Festival Days is organized by the White Meadow Lake Property Owners Association’s Festival Day Committee as a celebration for the lake community’s residents. If you are heading down on Sunday, skip the parking headache: free bus transportation runs from eight locations around the lake, and many streets near the clubhouse are designated no-parking zones.
Full schedules, contest details, and updates are posted on the Festival Days events calendar, so check before you go and get ready for one of the best weekends of the Rockaway Township summer.
