Pequannock Street Festival (October 25). The Pequannock Regional Chamber of Commerce turns the corner of Jackson Avenue and Newark-Pompton Turnpike in Pompton Plains into a free block party with food trucks, local vendors, and live music from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. See our Pequannock Street Festival guide.
Fall Farm Fun: Apples, Pumpkins, and Corn Mazes
Fall is peak season on Morris County’s farms. Alstede Farms in Chester runs pick-your-own apples and pumpkins, hayrides, and a corn maze all season, plus Harvest Moon Nights on Friday and Saturday evenings from late September into early November, with flashlight corn mazes, campfires, live entertainment, and fresh-pressed apple cider. Wightman Farms in Morristown offers pick-your-own apples, a corn maze, and a farm market into late November.
