September Festivals and Fairs in Morris County
Riverdale Labor Day Street Fair (September 7). Kick off the season along the Newark Pompton Turnpike with vendors, food, and rides at Riverdale’s annual Labor Day street fair.

Fall Farm Fun: Apples, Pumpkins, and Corn Mazes
Fall is peak season on Morris County’s farms. Alstede Farms in Chester runs pick-your-own apples and pumpkins, hayrides, and a corn maze all season, plus Harvest Moon Nights on Friday and Saturday evenings from late September into early November, with flashlight corn mazes, campfires, live entertainment, and fresh-pressed apple cider. Wightman Farms in Morristown offers pick-your-own apples, a corn maze, and a farm market into late November.
