Santa arrives in Morris County earlier than you think. The first Santa photo set of the 2026 season opens at Rockaway Townsquare on Friday, November 13, and from Thanksgiving weekend on he is everywhere from the Morristown Green to the farms of Long Valley. Here is where to get pictures with Santa in Morris County this year, starting with the spots that have confirmed 2026 dates.
Confirmed for 2026
Santa Photo Experience at Rockaway Townsquare, Rockaway
Simon’s Santa Photo Experience is expected to open Friday, November 13, 2026 on the lower level in Macy’s Court at Rockaway Townsquare, 301 Mount Hope Avenue. The closest door is the mall entrance next to Chipotle. Santa’s hours and photo packages have not been posted yet, so check the Santa Photo Experience page or call the mall at (973) 361-4070. Last year the mall also held a sensory friendly Caring Santa session on a Sunday morning before opening, which is worth watching for if your child does better without crowds.
The Santa House at the Morristown Green
Santa arrives on the Morristown Green on Saturday, November 28, 2026 for the Lighting of the Morristown Green, then visits the Santa House through the Christmas Festival on Sunday, November 29; Friday through Sunday, December 4 to 6; December 11 to 13; and December 18 to 20. Everything at the festival is free except photos with Santa, which are $15. Hours are posted on the Morristown Partnership event page as the date gets closer.
Santa Brunch and Dinner Photos
Two Santa meals include photos. Alstede Farms in Chester hosts Brunch with Santa on Saturday, December 12, 2026, and The Windlass on Lake Hopatcong hosts Dinner with Santa on Sunday, December 13, 2026. Prices and booking links are in our breakfast with Santa guide.
Annual Santa Photo Spots to Watch For
These are yearly traditions whose 2026 dates have not been announced yet. Here is what they looked like last season.
- Festive Farmyard at Fosterfields, Morris Township: The Morris County Park Commission’s living history farm at 73 Kahdena Road held Festive Farmyard on December 6 and 7, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for $10 a person, with a picture with Santa included. Registration runs through Morris County Parks.
- Winter Fest at Ort Farms, Long Valley: Santa meet and greets ran four December weekend days last year, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., with tickets sold online through Ort Farms.
- Hoffman’s Supply, Long Valley: Pet friendly Santa photos on Saturdays from late November through December last year, for $5 cash or a new unwrapped toy for the local food pantry.
- St. Hubert’s Tree of Love, Madison: St. Hubert’s Animal Welfare Center pairs a tree lighting and winter market with Santa visits each December, a good pick if you want your dog in the shot.
