Halloween weekend in Morris County belongs to horror fans when the Chiller Theatre Toy, Model and Film Expo returns Friday, October 30, through Sunday, November 1, 2026. The fall show is listed at the Dolce by Wyndham Parsippany, 199 Smith Road, Parsippany, the hotel many locals still know as the former Sheraton on Smith Road.

Chiller Theatre is a fan convention built around autograph signings with horror, sci-fi, movie and TV celebrities, musicians and artists, along with vendors selling toys, models, collectibles and film memorabilia. Fans who remember the show at the Hilton Parsippany should note the new venue before heading out.

Show hours on the official Chiller Theatre site are 6 to 11 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, November 1. Tickets are sold through Eventeny. General admission is $40 for Friday, $45 for Saturday and $40 for Sunday, or $100 for all three days. Pre-Show tickets cost $50 for Friday, $55 for Saturday, $50 for Sunday and $130 for the weekend. Fees are added at checkout, so a Saturday general admission ticket comes to $51.32.

The guest lineup can change between now and the show. The official site already lists some cancellations, including John Jarratt and Samantha Fox, so check the guest page before you plan your day around one name.

Parking at the hotel is free, with an overflow lot available for a small fee. If you are staying overnight, the organizer notes that the host hotel is full and points guests to Hotel Troy across the street.

Cosplay is welcome, with rules. Every prop has to be inspected and peace bonded at the door, functional weapons are banned, and replica firearms must have orange tips and be non functional. The show also enforces a Cosplay Is Not Consent policy, so ask before you touch or photograph anyone in costume.

Pair the expo with a few more frights. Our haunted houses in Morris County list and our Halloween events in Morris County guide cover everything else happening that weekend.
