One of Denville’s favorite summer traditions is almost here. The Denville Volunteer Fire Department Carnival returns to Fireman’s Field on Indian Road for five nights, running Tuesday, July 14 through Saturday, July 18, 2026, and the whole community is invited.
Rides, Games, and Plenty to Eat
The department is bringing more than 12 rides this year, along with over 30 classic carnival games where you can test your luck for a prize. The food is a big part of the draw, with funnel cake, hand made pizza, seafood, and all the usual fair favorites. There is also a beer garden for the adults who want to relax with a cold drink while the kids run from ride to ride. The carnival opens at 6 p.m. each night, so it works as an easy after-dinner stop or a full night out with the family.
A Fundraiser Worth Supporting
The carnival is more than a good time. It is the biggest fundraiser of the year for Denville’s all volunteer fire department, the crews who answer the call at every hour without pay. Every wristband, game, and funnel cake helps cover the equipment and training that keep the town safe. Coming out for a night of rides is one of the easiest ways to give back to the neighbors who show up for Denville all year long.
