The Fourth of July is almost here, and a growing list of Morris County towns have locked in their 2026 fireworks dates. Here is the running list of confirmed shows, sorted by date. We will keep adding towns as more of them announce, so check back as the holiday gets closer.
Friday, June 26, 2026
The Lake Hopatcong Yacht Club opens the season with its annual fireworks display on Friday, June 26, 2026, beginning at approximately 9:30 PM, with a rain date of Saturday, June 27. The show launches over the water, so the best views are from a boat, though spots along the Lake Hopatcong and Mount Arlington shorelines fill up fast.
The same night, Montville Township marks the 50th anniversary of its Fourth of July Celebration with a three-day event running Wednesday, June 24 through Friday, June 26, 2026, at Montville Township High School, 100 Horseneck Road. The fireworks light up the sky on Friday, June 26 at approximately 9:15 PM. New for the milestone year, the township is adding a drone show on Wednesday, June 24 at around 8:45 PM, along with carnival rides, food trucks, live music, and eating contests across all three nights.
Friday, July 3 to Sunday, July 5, 2026
Denville folds its traditional fireworks display into Denville Days, the township’s three-day Semiquincentennial celebration marking America’s 250th birthday, running Friday, July 3 through Sunday, July 5, 2026, at Gardner Field, 1 Saint Mary’s Place. Along with the fireworks, the festival packs in live music, a Friday night kickoff under the big tent, a kids activity area, food vendors, a beer garden, an arts and crafts market, and tethered hot air balloon rides (weather permitting). Florham Park holds its celebration right on Independence Day, Saturday, July 4, 2026, at Emmett Field, with a rain date of Sunday, July 5. DJ JAK gets things going at 7 PM, the band What’s What takes the stage at 7:45 PM, and the fireworks begin at 9 PM.
Saturday, July 11, 2026
The Randolph Freedom Festival closes out the county’s celebrations with its 50th annual run from Thursday, July 9 through Saturday, July 11, 2026, at County College of Morris, 214 Center Grove Road, from 6 PM to 11 PM each night. The fireworks finale goes off Saturday, July 11 at 9:45 PM, with a rain date of Sunday, July 12. The Kiwanis Freedom Parade steps off that same Saturday at 10 AM. Expect carnival rides, a beer garden, food trucks, and live music all weekend, and parking is a suggested $5 donation per car.
