Montville Township’s free summer concert series is running every Wednesday night at the Community Park Amphitheater, 90 Horseneck Road, from 7 to 9 p.m. through August 26. Admission is free, the lineup covers classic rock, Motown, blues, country and arena anthems, and the next show is Wednesday, July 22, with the Glenn Roberts Band.
The series is run by Montville Township Parks and Recreation, which opened the 2026 season on July 1 and booked nine bands across nine Wednesdays. It is one of the larger free town series in the county, and one of the few that plays into the last week of August.

Making a night of it
The amphitheater sits inside Montville Community Park, so families tend to arrive early, let the kids run, and settle in before the first set. Doors are not a factor here: it is a lawn, so the earlier you show up, the closer you sit.
If you want dinner first, our roundup of the best restaurants in Morris County has picks within a short drive. And if Wednesday does not work, nearly every town around here runs its own free series through the summer. We track all of them in our guide to free summer concert series in Morris County.
