Montville Township closes out the season with its biggest community celebration of the year, and this fall it lands on a Sunday. Montville Day returns to the Community Park Amphitheater on Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 1 to 6 p.m., with free admission, food trucks, and live music for the whole family.
What Montville Day is
Montville Day is the township’s annual family celebration, a free afternoon in the park built around food, music, and activities for kids of all ages. Hosted by Montville Township Recreation, it takes over the Community Park Amphitheater, tucked behind Montville Township High School and the library off Horseneck Road.
The 2026 music lineup
This year leans into crowd-pleasing tribute acts. Little Mermen, a band built around Disney hits, plays from 1:30 to 3 p.m. and is a natural fit for the younger crowd. Separate Ways, a Journey tribute band, closes things out from 4 to 5:30 p.m. In between and throughout the afternoon, a rotating group of food trucks keeps the amphitheater lawn busy.
Know before you go
Admission is free, so there is no ticket to buy. The Community Park Amphitheater is accessible from 90 and 100 Horseneck Road in Montville, and the celebration runs from 1 to 6 p.m. Bring the family, come hungry, and check the Montville Township calendar for any updates as the date gets closer.
