The name NEER comes from the Sanskrit word for water, reflecting the restaurant’s philosophy of purity, balance and hospitality. Traditional Indian recipes and house spice blends form the foundation, while modern presentation and a lighter touch give the menu its own identity. What to Order at Madison’s New Indian Restaurant
Two dishes do most of the talking. The Pandara Road Wala Butter Chicken draws inspiration from Delhi’s celebrated Pandara Road restaurants, delivering the richness guests expect while remaining balanced and deeply aromatic. The Giant Naan is the other, and it is the reason phones come out before forks do.
Past those, the featured list is a good roadmap: NEER Lamb Chops, Lamb Rogan Josh, Methi Machli, and Paneer Tikka Masala. The tandoori section is deep, with marinated chicken, lamb, seafood and vegetarian specialties all coming out of the clay oven, so a table can split smoky skewers and a curry without anyone compromising.
