Netcong may be one of the smallest towns in Morris County, but every Friday night this summer it hosts one of the area’s friendliest free traditions: Concerts in the Park at DiRenzo Park. Pack a lawn chair, bring the family, and settle in for live music, with free hamburgers and hot dogs handed out on the side.
The next confirmed headliner is Jersey Sound, a North Jersey oldies and classic rock band, playing Friday, July 17, 2026 from 7 to 9 p.m.
When and where
The concerts take place at DiRenzo Park on Dell Avenue, just off Main Street in the heart of Netcong. Shows run Friday evenings from 7 to 9 p.m. If the weather does not cooperate, the rain date is the following Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. Admission is always free.

Crowd-pleasing cover band Jersey Sound returns to DiRenzo Park on Friday, July 17, 2026, for a free 7 to 9 p.m. set of singalong oldies and classic rock. It is the kind of laid-back, all-ages night the series is known for, no ticket required.
A summer tradition since 2000
Netcong’s Concerts in the Park series started back in 2000 as a simple summertime pastime, and it has grown in size and variety every year since. Part of the fun is the surprise factor: the Recreation Commission regularly hands out free hamburgers and hot dogs, and a few nights each summer are set aside as ice cream nights for everyone in attendance. The series is sponsored by the Mayor and Council and welcomes neighbors from surrounding towns.
