Summer in Morris County has a new after-dark tradition, and this one is built for grown-ups. On Friday, June 26, 2026, Mount Olive Township hosts Stars, Stripes and Summer Nights at the Event Field in Turkey Brook Park, a laid-back evening celebration running from 6 to 9:30 PM.
The event is open to ages 18 and older, with admission set at $5. It lands during a milestone year for the township, which is marking the country’s 250th birthday with a full season of community events under the banner “Celebrating 250 Years Through Service.”
Live Music Under the Stars
The night is anchored by live music from Vintage Feedback, playing under open skies for the kind of easygoing summer evening that calls for a lawn chair and good company. Organizers suggest bringing a chair or blanket and settling in.
Games, Inflatables and a Bonfire
There is plenty to do beyond the music. The event includes free big screen gaming, free inflatables that adults are welcome to enjoy, and lawn games spread around the field. As the sun goes down, a bonfire takes over for that classic summer-night glow.
Food, Drinks and Local Vendors
Food vendors will be on site serving summer favorites, and Jersey Girl Brewing will pour beverages for guests 21 and older. Local vendors round out the evening for anyone who wants to browse while they snack and sip.
