Morris County’s summer calendar stays busy the weekend of Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19, 2026, with a lakeside festival finale, a 250th anniversary outdoor musical, a World Cup watch party, and a comic convention.
In Rockaway Township, White Meadow Lake Festival Days wraps up its four day run on July 18 and 19. The community tradition, now past 40 years, packs in carnival rides, food and refreshments, live DJ music, a parade, a 5K, the popular kayak and canoe race, a sand castle contest, and a marketplace of vendors, all building to the fireworks finale. Free bus transportation runs Sunday from eight spots around the lake.
Randolph brings Americana Bandstand to Veterans Community Park at 100 Calais Road, a 250th anniversary outdoor production presented by Brundage Park Playhouse that travels through 250 years of American music, dance, and storytelling. Performances run Saturday, July 18 at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m., and Sunday, July 19 at 3 p.m. Admission is $10 per person pre registered or $15 on site, with lawn games, food from Kielbasa N’ More, and craft beer from Fort Nonsense Brewing Company. Bring a lawn chair or blanket, and dogs are welcome.
Soccer fans can watch the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final on a giant screen in Mount Olive on Sunday, July 19. The township’s free watch party takes over Soccer Fields 5 and 7 at Turkey Brook Park for an afternoon of soccer, food, and community, with a 3 p.m. kickoff.
Comic and pop culture fans have KubieCon III on Saturday, July 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Davidson Rooms of the Student Community Center at County College of Morris in Randolph.
