BKFC President David Feldman enthusiastically introduced the event at a press conference in Philadelphia on December 3, 2024. Feldman shared, “Today marks a significant day in Pennsylvania’s combat sports history, especially the great city of Philadelphia. It gives me immense satisfaction to celebrate my dream and introduce a new era in Philadelphia combat sports, Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.”
The headline features a fierce showdown between Philadelphia native and former UFC/Bellator champion Eddie Alvarez (1-1) and Jeremy Stephens (2-0), a veteran fighter riding high off a recent win over Jimmie Rivera. At the press conference, the two fighters exchanged sharp words during their first faceoff, setting the tone for an electrifying main event.
In addition to the Alvarez-Stephens clash, KnuckleMania 5 will include a women’s flyweight bout between Taylor Starling and Bec Rawlings. Fans can also look forward to Bellator standout Kimbo Slice Jr. trading blows with TikTok star Bryce Hall, who boasts an impressive 23.6 million followers on social media, adding a pop-culture element to the card.
