Downtown Denville will close Broadway to traffic on Sunday, September 20, 2026, for the second annual Downtown Denville Fall Festival, running from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The free, family-friendly street festival turns the heart of Denville into one long walkable block of live music, seasonal food, games, and pumpkins, with the downtown shops and restaurants open all day.

What to expect on Broadway

For one afternoon, the whole downtown becomes a pedestrian stretch. Downtown Denville is promising live music, family fun, games, pumpkins, and plenty of food and drinks, alongside the local shops and restaurants that line Broadway the rest of the year. It is the kind of easygoing fall day out that Denville’s walkable downtown was built for, with plenty to keep kids busy while parents browse.

When and where

The festival runs Sunday, September 20, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. along Broadway in downtown Denville. Broadway will be closed to traffic for the day, so plan to use the nearby municipal lots and walk in. Admission is free.

A growing downtown tradition

This is only the second year for the Downtown Denville Fall Festival, following its debut in 2025. It is organized by Downtown Denville, the borough’s business district, as a way to draw residents and visitors into the shopping and dining corridor as the season turns. It also lands during one of the busiest stretches on the local calendar, joining a full slate of fall festivals and fairs across Morris County and giving locals one more reason to spend a Sunday downtown. If you are mapping out the days ahead, it fits neatly into the rest of the weekend lineup.

For vendor information and the latest updates, Downtown Denville shares details through its event page and social channels.
