Fosterfields Living Historical Farm in Morris Township is turning its lawn into an outdoor movie theater on Saturday, August 15, 2026. The Morris County Park Commission’s Movie Night on the Farm runs from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. and pairs a wagon ride and a visit with the farm animals with a screening of the animated comedy Barnyard (2006) under the stars.
What the night looks like
The evening starts with a wagon ride around the historic property and a chance to meet the animals that live at Fosterfields. Once the sun goes down, families settle in on the lawn for the film. Free popcorn is included, and the Park Commission asks guests to bring their own blankets and chairs.
Tickets, time, and what to know
Admission is $10 per person, and children 2 and under get in free. The event is open to all ages and runs from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Space on the lawn is limited, so the Park Commission recommends reserving ahead through its online registration page. You can register for Movie Night on the Farm or call the farm at 973-326-7645 with questions.
