One of the most popular community events in Jefferson Township, NJ is back this spring. Jefferson Township Fire Companies #1 and #2 are hosting their 2026 Firemen’s Carnival from Wednesday, May 27 through Saturday, May 30, at the fields behind Jefferson Middle School on Weldon Road in Jefferson Township, NJ. Admission is free and open to the public.
What to Expect at the Jefferson Township Firemen’s Carnival 2026
The 2026 carnival features thrilling rides for all ages provided by Campy’s Amusements, carnival games and prizes, food vendors, a kid’s activity tent, and a vendor fair running throughout the four-day event. On Saturday, May 30, the carnival closes with a spectacular fireworks display over Jefferson Township. The rain date for fireworks is Sunday, May 31.
A giant 50/50 raffle drawing is scheduled for Saturday night as well.
For unlimited rides, Pay One Price wristbands are available for $45 at the gate or $40 when purchased online in advance through May 26. Advance wristbands are available through Campy’s Amusements.
Supporting Jefferson Township’s Volunteer Fire Companies
Both Jefferson Township Fire Company #1 and Fire Company #2 are fully volunteer organizations. The annual Firemen’s Carnival is their single largest fundraiser of the year. Proceeds go directly toward maintaining fire apparatus, covering equipment costs, and keeping pace with advances in firefighting technology without a dedicated full-time budget for those expenses.
Attending the carnival is a direct way for Jefferson Township and Morris County residents to support the volunteer safety infrastructure that protects the community year-round.
