Big excitement is coming to Morris County in 2026! The Tri-County Fair, in partnership with The CARE Center of NJ, has officially been selected as a statewide partner for the NJ World Cup Community Initiative.
The initiative is being led through a collaboration between the NJ Economic Development Authority (NJEDA), Choose New Jersey, and Welcome World Cup NY/NJ as communities across the region prepare for the energy and global attention for all the matches coming up.
As one of the initiative’s official partners, the Tri-County Fair will transform part of the fairgrounds into a World Cup Fan Zone during the fair, taking place June 18–21, 2026, at 140 Green Pond Road in Rockaway, NJ.
Guests will be able to watch live soccer matches streamed on a massive outdoor screen while enjoying soccer-themed activities and interactive fan experiences. Organizers say the goal is to create an exciting community atmosphere where families, soccer fans, and fairgoers can celebrate together.
In addition to the new soccer festivities, attendees can still expect all the classic Tri-County Fair favorites, including:
- More rides than ever before
- Games and midway attractions
- Monster truck rides
- Pony rides
- Arestov’s Acrobatic Extravaganza
- Food trucks and fair favorites
- A spectacular drone light show on Friday night
- Unlimited ride wristbands available Thursday and Sunday
The partnership places the Tri-County Fair among a select group of organizations helping showcase New Jersey during one of the world’s biggest sporting events.
