Updated October 2026 by the Shop Morris County team

Looking for Lake Hopatcong restaurants that stay open after the boats come out of the water? You are in the right place. The lake is busiest in summer, but plenty of spots on the Morris County side keep serving all winter. We stuck to the Jefferson, Mount Arlington and Roxbury shores and added a winter status note for every restaurant so you know what to expect.

We update this guide regularly to make sure it reflects the latest openings, closures, and seasonal hours. For more ideas around the lake, see our guide to things to do in Jefferson, our look at summer in Mount Arlington, and our picks for the best seafood restaurants in Morris County.
