The Kinnelon Carnival is back for another summer, returning to the grounds of Kinnelon High School at 121 Kinnelon Road from Friday, August 7 through Monday, August 10, 2026. The annual community carnival runs from 6 to 10 p.m. each night, with amusement rides, midway games, fair food, and prizes for the whole family.
What to Expect on the Midway
The rides come from Campy’s Amusements, a family-owned New Jersey carnival company that sets up its midway on the high school fields for the long weekend. Alongside the rides you will find classic carnival games, prizes, and plenty of fair food. It is an easy, low-cost night out for families across Kinnelon and the surrounding Tri-Boro area.
Ride Armbands and Tickets
An unlimited-ride armband is $40 when purchased in advance and is good for any one day of the carnival. Presale armbands are available online through August 6, and tickets can also be bought at the event. Most rides require riders to be at least 36 inches tall, so check the height guide before the little ones line up. Full ride and ticket details are posted on the Campy’s Amusements event page.
A Kinnelon Summer Tradition
The carnival is a longtime Kinnelon tradition, sponsored by the Borough of Kinnelon and the Kinnelon Junior Football Association. Proceeds help support the town’s youth football and cheer programs, so a night of rides and games doubles as a way to give back to the community.
