The Taste of Italy Italian Festival is coming to Mine Hill Fireman’s Field, 230 Route 46, Mine Hill, on Saturday, October 10, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is $5, and children under 5 get in free. The festival is produced by JMK Events and Just Jersey Fest, and it benefits the Mine Hill Fire Department and the Dover Firemen’s Benevolent Association, Local 60.
Food is the main event. Sixteen vendors are on the lineup: The Mozzarella God, Little Sicilian, The Pasta Truck, Mac Truck, Hold My Knots, Clyde’s Italian Ice, Ravioli Remix, Uncle Sal’s Egg Rolls, Donut NV, D’Albano, The Brownie Bar, Johnny Zeppoli, Sip Fusion, Jersey Meatball King, What the Focaccia and Avellino’s Wood Fired Pizza. Expect fresh pizza, pasta dishes made to order, rice balls, seafood specialties, steak, Italian ices and ice cream, with The Mozzarella God serving as the headline cheese stop.
For adults 21 and over, an adult beverage bar will pour beer, sangria, margaritas, vodka lemonade, limoncello spritzes and Aperol spritzes, among other drinks.
The music leans classic. Accordion player Max La Falce will stroll the grounds from noon to 3 p.m., and the DeLauro Rat Pack Band brings a Sinatra-style set to the field later in the day.
Kids have their own corner of the festival with face painting, inflatables, a pasta necklace craft station and an Italian flag craft station. Organizers recommend bringing chairs and blankets so you can settle in on the field, and coming hungry.
Fireman’s Field sits right on Route 46 in Mine Hill, so it is an easy drive from Dover, Randolph, Wharton, Roxbury and Rockaway. Because every admission supports the local fire department and the Dover firefighters’ association, the $5 at the gate goes straight back into the community that keeps Mine Hill and Dover safe.
