Reservoir Tavern, Boonton
If Morris County pizza has a hall of famer, this is it. Reservoir Tavern has been serving its brick-oven pies since 1936, when Nicola Bevacqua first opened the doors, and the recipe has barely changed since. Expect homemade dough, a generous hand with the toppings, and a crowd that has been coming for generations. Find it at 92 Parsippany Boulevard.

Coniglio’s Old Fashioned, Morristown
Tucked at 11 South Street in Morristown, Coniglio’s Old Fashioned is run by Nino Coniglio, a championship-level pizza maker who has turned the shop into a destination. The pies here are blistered, well sauced, and the kind of thing that draws lines out the door. The pasta is no afterthought either.

Casa D’Pizza, Denville
Casa D’Pizza on East Main Street in Denville leans on a real wood-burning oven, and you taste it in every thin, crisp slice. Everything is made to order with nothing frozen, which is why locals keep this one in heavy rotation. You will find it at 276 East Main Street.

Formaggio’s Pizzeria, Madison
Formaggio’s Pizzeria at 36 Main Street brings Brooklyn-style pies and famously jumbo slices to downtown Madison. It is a reliable go-to for students, families, and anyone who wants a big, foldable slice done right.

Mama’s Pizzeria, Succasunna
Started by two brothers from Brooklyn, Mama’s Pizzeria on Route 10 in Succasunna brings the borough’s recipes to Roxbury. The grandma pie and the upside-down square are the move here, with a balance of cheese and sauce that has fans driving in from neighboring towns. The address is 139 Route 10.

Pizza Rustica, Rockaway
A neighborhood staple on West Main Street, Pizza Rustica in Rockaway has built a loyal following for its classic slices and consistency. Find it at 25 West Main Street in the heart of Rockaway.

Parsippany’s Best Pizza, Parsippany
The name is a claim, and plenty of regulars back it up. Parsippany’s Best Pizza at 756 Route 46 West is a family-owned spot whose grandma pizza, with its crispy crust and loaded toppings, gets singled out again and again.

Roman Pizza, Chester
Out in Chester’s walkable downtown, Roman Pizza at 81 West Main Street is the kind of family-run neighborhood pizzeria every small town wants. Pair a slice with a stroll through Chester’s shops and you have an easy afternoon.
