This fall, we are spending some time with Jodi Fishbane, a REALTOR and Sales Associate with Weichert Realtors in Mountain Lakes. Jodi works with buyers and sellers across our area, with a special focus on Rockaway, White Meadow Lake and Lake Hopatcong. For our Fall 2026 feature, she shared her story, how she works with clients and a few of her favorite local spots, along with photos from around town.
From a people person to REALTOR
Jodi got into real estate during COVID. “I’ve always loved helping people,” she told us. She describes herself as a people person who loves being around others, and she calls helping clients find their biggest asset in life the most rewarding part of the job. Before real estate, her background was in education.
A team approach, without the pressure
Jodi says she is not an agent who pushes clients. Instead, she sees herself and her clients as a team during every transaction. She works with Weichert’s All Under One Roof team, so buyers and sellers have support throughout the process.
Communication is a big part of how she works. “I keep my clients informed every step of the way,” she says. “I don’t disappear.” For sellers, she says she does more than simply put a sign in the ground.
