About the Randolph Indian Association

The Randolph Indian Association, known locally as RIA, was founded to promote and share Indian culture with the Randolph community, to get young people involved, and to bring the Indian community together through charitable volunteering and traditional Indian festivals.

Beyond its festival calendar, the group gives back throughout the year, from food drives to support for local health care workers. Its annual Diwali party is one of the highlights of that calendar, and a chance for neighbors of every background to share in the celebration.

Why Diwali Is Worth Celebrating

Diwali is one of the most joyful festivals of the year for millions of families. It celebrates the victory of light over darkness and good over evil, and it is traditionally marked with glowing diyas, colorful rangoli, sweets, new clothes and time with family and friends.
