The group formed in Jamestown, New York, in 1981, and 2026 marks its 45th anniversary. MPAC is billing the night as 45 Years of Timeless Music, and with less than four weeks to go, now is a good time to grab seats.

Who Is in 10,000 Maniacs Today
Mary Ramsey leads the band on vocals and viola. She is joined by Jerome Augustyniak on drums, John Lombardo on guitar and vocals, Dennis Drew on keyboards and Steven Gustafson on bass and vocals, all longtime Maniacs, with guitarist Ben Medina rounding out the six piece lineup. The band lists the same six members on its official website.
What to Expect From the 45th Anniversary Shows
The band broke through with 1987’s In My Tribe, which spent 77 weeks on the charts and gave us “Like the Weather” and “What’s the Matter Here?” Platinum albums Blind Man’s Zoo and Our Time in Eden followed, and the band’s MTV Unplugged album, with its hit cover of “Because the Night,” sold more than four million copies. In all, the Maniacs have sold more than 10 million records worldwide.
The anniversary year also brings a new box set, Candy Everybody Wants, covering the band’s Elektra years, and MPAC says the band plans to close out 2026 with its first album of new material in 12 years. Expect the hits fans know by heart, with room for some of the new songs too.
