Morris County is quietly one of the best places in North Jersey to spend an afternoon antiquing. Two downtowns anchor the scene, historic Chester and Main Street in Boonton, with a few more standout shops in Denville and Morristown. Here are the antique and vintage shops worth planning a trip around, all open as of the fall of 2026.

Antiques by Chester Crafts & Collectibles (Chester)

At 28 Main Street in the heart of historic Chester, this shop anchors the borough’s antiquing strip. Expect quality antique furniture alongside artwork, glassware, ceramics, metalware, jewelry, and seasonal finds, all packed into a browsable Main Street storefront. It is dog friendly too, so your pup can come inside. See hours and details.

Grouse in Pearls (Chester)

A few doors down at 54 Main Street, inside the Village Square Shops, Grouse in Pearls mixes antique, vintage, and contemporary furniture with home decor, art, and fine jewelry, plus a rotating selection of designer pieces. It is a fun stop for treasure hunters who like a little glamour with their finds. See hours and details.

Claire Ann’s Antiques (Boonton)

Boonton’s Main Street is its own antiquing destination, and Claire Ann’s Antiques at 819 Main Street is a longtime fixture. It is the kind of shop where you can lose an hour digging through furniture, glassware, and small collectibles. See Claire Ann’s Antiques.

Steener’s Attic (Boonton)

Just up the block at 815 Main Street, Steener’s Attic fills a sprawling, multi room space with vintage and antique furniture and decor. With room after room to explore, it rewards a slow, unhurried browse. Visit Steener’s Attic.

Time’s Tin Cup Vintage (Denville)

Now settled in downtown Denville after starting in Boonton, Time’s Tin Cup Vintage is a treasure trove of antiques, vintage souvenirs, art, and gifts. It is an easy add on to a day of shopping and eating along Broadway. See Time’s Tin Cup Vintage.

Rose Block Antiques (Morristown)

Tucked on Elm Street in Morristown, Rose Block Antiques spreads finds across multiple floors, from furniture to smalls, and hosts the occasional street sale. It is a worthwhile detour on any trip into the county seat. See Rose Block Antiques.

Make a day of it

The best antiquing days here pair a shop crawl with lunch and a walk. In Chester, the antique shops sit steps from the rest of historic Main Street. In Morristown, you can browse and then explore the rest of downtown Morristown, and Denville’s shop fits neatly into a stroll through downtown Broadway. Call ahead when you can, since many independent shops keep shorter or seasonal hours.
