The Jaycees of Florham Park are bringing back their annual Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 31, 2026, in the Holy Family Church parking lot in Florham Park. Families can expect a safe, walkable night of trick or treating from car to car, plenty of costumes, and a lot full of decorated trunks competing for prizes.
When and Where
Date: Saturday, October 31, 2026 (Halloween itself lands on a Saturday this year)
Location: Holy Family Church parking lot, Florham Park
Hosted by: The Jaycees of Florham Park
Time: The Jaycees have not posted a start time yet. We will update this post when they do, and you can check the Jaycees Trunk or Treat page in the meantime.
What to Expect
Trunk or Treat swaps the long walk between houses for one parking lot lined with open, decorated car trunks. Kids go from car to car collecting candy, parents can keep everyone in sight, and nobody has to worry about busy streets after dark. It is an easy fit for little ones who are new to trick or treating, and a fun warmup before neighborhood candy runs later in the evening.
Expect plenty of costumes on both sides of the trunk. Past years in the Holy Family lot have featured families dressed as full themed groups, Jaycees volunteers under their tent, and pickup trucks decked out from bumper to bumper.
Decorate a Trunk and Compete for a Prize
Want to be on the other side of the candy bowl? The Jaycees give out prizes for the best decorated trunk. Residents, families, businesses and community groups can sign up through the Trunk or Treat registration form. Bring a theme, bring plenty of candy, and plan to arrive early enough to set up before the crowd shows up.
Local businesses interested in supporting the event can reach the Jaycees about 2026 sponsorships through the event page.
Who Are the Florham Park Jaycees?
The Jaycees are a volunteer organization of young adults focused on community service and leadership. In Florham Park, the chapter runs hometown events through the year, and Trunk or Treat is one of its most family friendly.
