Parsippany-Troy Hills is home to three companies on the 2026 Fortune 500, Fortune’s annual ranking of the largest U.S. companies by revenue: PBF Energy at No. 154, Avis Budget Group at No. 380 and Zoetis at No. 434. That is more Fortune 500 headquarters than any other town in New Jersey.
The New Jersey Business and Industry Association counted 15 New Jersey-based companies on the 2026 list. Parsippany accounts for three of them, Newark for two (Prudential Financial and PSEG), and no other town in the state has more than one.
PBF Energy, No. 154
PBF Energy, a petroleum refiner, is headquartered at 1 Sylvan Way in Parsippany, according to its SEC filings. Fortune’s company profile lists $29.3 billion in revenue and 3,678 employees, making it the largest Morris County company on the list.
Avis Budget Group, No. 380
Avis Budget Group, the parent of the Avis and Budget car rental brands, is headquartered at 379 Interpace Parkway in Parsippany, per its SEC filings. Fortune lists $11.7 billion in revenue and 21,000 employees, the largest workforce of the three.
Zoetis, No. 434
Zoetis, the animal health company that makes medicines and vaccines for pets and livestock, is headquartered at 10 Sylvan Way in Parsippany, per its SEC filings. Fortune lists $9.5 billion in revenue and 14,500 employees. Zoetis moved up one spot from No. 435 on the 2025 list.
Why Parsippany
Two of the three companies, PBF Energy and Zoetis, share the same street, Sylvan Way. Together the three Parsippany companies report about $50.5 billion in combined revenue, according to Fortune’s figures.
How the three moved from 2025
All three companies were also on the 2025 Fortune 500. PBF Energy was No. 135 last year and Avis Budget Group was No. 360, according to Fortune’s company pages, while Zoetis edged up from No. 435 to No. 434. Together the three Parsippany headquarters report 39,178 employees worldwide in Fortune’s data.
Zoetis picked up a second Fortune honor this year as well. It is No. 93 on Fortune’s 2026 100 Best Companies to Work For in Europe, according to its Fortune profile.
Fortune has published the Fortune 500 every year since 1955, and 2026 marks the list’s 72nd year. The ranking is based on total revenue for each company’s most recent fiscal year.
