Morristown’s Halloween Bar Crawl is back for 2026, and this year it runs on two Saturdays: October 24, from 4 to 11 p.m., and Halloween night itself, Saturday, October 31, from 4 to 10 p.m. The crawl is organized by PubCrawls.com and is open to guests 21 and over with a valid government-issued photo ID.
Three downtown bars are named on the route: Horseshoe Tavern at 36 Speedwell Avenue, Iron Bar at 5 South Street and Grasshopper Off the Green at 41 Morris Street. All three sit close to the Morristown Green, so the crawl is easy to do on foot.
A ticket gets you an event wristband for bar access, Halloween drink specials and themed cocktails at the participating bars, a digital crawl map and access to the official after-party. Tickets for the October 31 crawl also include two to three complimentary drinks or shots. A professional photographer and videographer will be working the crawl, so the costume effort will not go to waste.
Tickets, pricing and the check-in spot are on the PubCrawls.com Morristown Halloween page. You meet event staff at check-in, pick up your wristband and head out from there.
A few tips for the night. Wear a costume you can walk in, since you will be moving between bars. Downtown parking gets tight on busy October Saturdays, and the Morristown train station on NJ Transit’s Morristown Line is a short walk from the Green, which makes the train or a rideshare the smart way to get home.
Earlier on Halloween weekend, downtown Morristown’s family trick-or-treat runs Friday, October 30, from 3 to 5 p.m. at participating businesses and on the Green.
