Pioneer Productions is staging Neil Simon’s farce Rumors at The Stage at Fellowship Hall in Morristown, with six performances from Friday, November 6 through Sunday, November 15, 2026. The show runs two weekends at Morristown United Methodist Church, 50 South Park Place, right off the Morristown Green.
The company calls Rumors one of Simon’s most challenging and wickedly funny plays, and the setup explains why. Guests arrive at a 10th anniversary party to find the servants gone, the hostess nowhere in sight and the host upstairs with a gunshot wound to the ear. What follows is two acts of cover stories, slammed doors and friends trying to keep each other from finding out what really happened.
