Send me the listWashington Township’s Community Night Out is back at Rock Spring Park in Long Valley on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, from 6 to 9 p.m. The free evening, hosted by the township’s emergency services, brings neighbors together for food, games, and a close-up look at the local police, fire, and first aid crews who serve the community.
What to Expect
The night is built for families. Recent editions have filled the park with a rock wall, a bounce house, and even axe throwing, along with free food and plenty of room for kids to run around. It is an easy, low-key way to spend a summer evening and to meet the people behind Washington Township’s police, fire, and first aid squads.
When and Where
Community Night Out runs Tuesday, July 21, 2026, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Rock Spring Park on East Springtown Road in Long Valley. If the weather does not cooperate, the rain date is Wednesday, July 22, at the same time and place. Admission is free and no registration is needed.
A Long Valley Summer Tradition
Community Night Out is Washington Township’s version of the nationwide push to connect residents with their first responders. In a town known for its rolling farmland and historic Long Valley center, it has grown into a summer staple, and it is one more reason the western corner of Morris County is worth the drive this month.
