Ort Farms is turning its Long Valley fields into a fall celebration this month. Ortoberfest, the farm’s family-friendly spin on Oktoberfest, runs Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 20, 2026 at 25 Bartley Road, pairing cold local brews and seasonal food with a full day of hayrides, pick-your-own, and farm fun for every age.
A Farm Oktoberfest Built for the Whole Family
Ortoberfest blends the beer-garden spirit of a classic Oktoberfest with everything that already makes Ort Farms a fall destination. Grown-ups can enjoy cold brews while the kids run the property, so the weekend lands as a family day out rather than an adults-only night. Expect Oktoberfest touches, seasonal eats, and a busy farm both days.
What to Do at Ort Farms This Fall
The activity list is long. Visitors can pick their own apples in the five-acre orchard, take a tractor-pulled hayride to the pumpkin patch, and wind through the five-acre corn maze. Weekend attractions add the cow train, the apple cannons, and the barnyard bounce, along with farm animals, wooden play structures, and a mini hay maze for the littlest guests. When it is time for a break, the farm market is stocked with fresh produce, apple cider donuts, and prepared meals, plus more than 20 flavors of homemade ice cream.
Tickets, Hours, and What to Know
Admission is by dated ticket, so plan to choose September 19 or 20 when buying in advance through the farm’s 2026 fall ticket page. Military members and veterans get in free with a valid ID. The orchard is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the farm market runs 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Picking conditions can shift with the weather, so Ort Farms asks guests to check its website or Facebook page for the day’s apple and pumpkin availability before heading out.
