The Borough of Wharton’s free summer concert series keeps rolling at Betty Poyer Field, and the next show brings Jersey Shore rock band Exit 102 to the stage on Friday, July 17 at 6 p.m. Admission is free, the way every show in the series is.
What to know before you go
The concerts are free, outdoor, and family friendly. Pack a lawn chair or a blanket, bring the kids, and settle in on the grass at Betty Poyer Field as the sun goes down. Music starts at 6 p.m. You can confirm the date and time on the Borough of Wharton event calendar.
Who is playing, and when
Two shows are left on the 2026 slate. Exit 102 plays a night of Jersey Shore rock on Friday, July 17, and the series wraps at the end of the summer with country band Bix Hix on Friday, August 28. Both start at 6 p.m. at Betty Poyer Field.
The field has already hosted a full run of tribute and party bands this season, from a yacht rock opener in May to a Billy Joel tribute and an 80s party set in June, so the crowd knows the drill by now.
Where it is
Betty Poyer Field sits at 180 West Central Avenue, at the corner of West Central and West Dewey in Wharton. It is one of the borough’s main community fields, and the full list of what is happening there lives on the Wharton borough calendar.
