Wingstop is coming to Parsippany. The wing chain is converting the former BCB Community Bank branch at The Shoppes at Parsippany, the shopping center at 1470 Route 46, into a new restaurant. The bank branch has permanently closed, and no opening date for Wingstop has been announced yet.
The Parsippany-Troy Hills location fills a real gap on the Route 46 corridor. Right now, the closest Wingstop for most Parsippany residents is the one at 123 Morris Street in Morristown, which is open every day from 10:30 a.m. to midnight for carryout and delivery, according to Wingstop’s Morristown location page. A Route 46 storefront puts wings much closer for families all over Parsippany-Troy Hills.
If you have never been, Wingstop is built around one thing: wings that are cooked to order, then hand sauced and tossed in the flavor you pick. The lineup runs from milder options like Garlic Parmesan and Lemon Pepper through Original Hot and Cajun, all the way up to Atomic, the hottest flavor on the board. You can order classic bone-in wings, boneless wings or chicken tenders, and most meals come with the chain’s fresh cut, seasoned fries plus ranch or blue cheese for dipping. The full flavor list and menu are on Wingstop.com.
Wingstop was founded in 1994 in Garland, Texas, and is now based in Dallas. The brand is known for its retro aviation look and the tagline “Where Flavor Gets Its Wings,” and it has grown into one of the biggest wing chains in the world, with thousands of restaurants in the United States and abroad.
The Shoppes at Parsippany is a roughly 54,700 square foot center on Route 46, anchored by the Delight Big Bazaar market and a Dollar Tree. Wingstop joins a busy run of new food on Parsippany’s stretch of Route 46. Burtons Grill and Bar is now open in Parsippany, and farther down the highway the Morris Hills Shopping Center is in the middle of a redevelopment that is bringing in a new Trader Joe’s along with new restaurants.
We will share the opening date as soon as Wingstop announces it. Until then, our local guide to Parsippany has plenty of places to eat, shop and explore around town.
