The Stefan Strong Foundation will host its annual Psychic Medium Night with Catherine McCall on Thursday, October 1, 2026 at the Randolph Community Center, and tickets are on sale now.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for a tricky tray and mingling, and McCall begins her readings at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $50 per person. The Randolph Community Center is at 30 Calais Road in Randolph. This is a 21 and over event and seating is limited, so the foundation is encouraging people to buy early.

The night is bring your own. Guests are welcome to bring their own beverages and snacks, so a favorite drink and a loaded charcuterie board are both fair game. Tables seat eight, which means a group can fill one together or a pair can grab two seats and meet some new people. A 50/50 raffle and a handful of tricky tray baskets run alongside the readings.

Catherine McCall is a spiritual medium and intuitive who has headlined this fundraiser for the foundation before, including the 2025 edition at the same Randolph venue. Tickets and donations are handled through the event listing on AllEvents, where the foundation is listed as the organizer.

The money raised goes toward the foundation’s I Spy mural project. The Stefan Strong Foundation commissions hand painted, interactive murals for children’s outpatient cancer treatment centers, the kind of thing a child can get lost in during a long treatment day. Artist Jenn Hollis painted two murals at the Valerie Center in Morristown, dedicated in April 2023, and two more at the K. Hovnanian Children’s Treatment Center in Old Bridge, with a ribbon cutting in December 2024. The foundation’s goal is to keep placing them at centers across New Jersey and eventually beyond it.

The Randolph based nonprofit was created after Stefan was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in September 2013 at 18 years old and his family saw firsthand what community support meant during treatment. It funds cancer research, prevention, detection and treatment efforts, and provides resources for the physical and emotional well being of families dealing with cancer. Its motto is simple: remain strong, inspire hope. More on the foundation and its other fundraisers, including its annual comedy night, is on the foundation’s event page.

Randolph has a busy calendar this year. The township’s free Stars and Stripes Summer Social runs at Veterans Community Park on August 8, and there is plenty more on our roundup of things to do in Morris County this month.
