One of Randolph’s favorite summer traditions is back. The town’s free Stars & Stripes Summer Social returns to Veterans Community Park on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with live music, food vendors, and a full afternoon of family activities. If the weather does not cooperate, the rain date is Sunday, August 9.
Run by Randolph Parks and Recreation, the Summer Social has grown into a go-to community day, and this year it lands right in the middle of the county’s America 250 celebrations marking the nation’s 250th birthday.
What to expect
The lineup leans all the way into summer. Kids and adults can cool off at the Foam Party (bring a towel), then work their way through Mini Golf, an Inflatable Maze, a High Striker, a Duck Hunt, Lawn Games, and a Dunk Tank. New this year is a Touch-A-Truck area, where kids can climb aboard the big rigs and first responder vehicles up close.
Live music runs throughout the afternoon, with sets from Owls & Lions and Austin City Nights. Food and beverage vendors will be set up across the park, so you can make a full afternoon of it.
Part of a big summer across Morris County
The Summer Social is one of dozens of free, family friendly events happening around the county this season. For more fairs, carnivals, and concerts to round out your calendar, see our guide to Morris County summer festivals in 2026.
