Send me the listOn Wednesday, August 6 at 5:30 PM, an unlimited BBQ buffet will be served in a reserved picnic area at TD Bank Stadium in Bridgewater, NJ, hosted by the Friends of Roxbury Library, just in time to see Darryl Strawberry throw out the first pitch for the Somerset Patriots versus the Binghamton Rumble Ponies. This special Friends of Roxbury Library Adventure combines backyard style dining with Minor League baseball excitement.
Ticket Pricing and Deadlines
Adult tickets for non-members are $45 each; Friends members receive a discounted rate of $40. Kids ages 4-10 pay $25 each through July 5. Starting July 6, the price is $30 for children of Friends members and $38 for other children. Children under 3 attend free. Ticket sales end July 18.
Buffet and Game Details
The 90-minute buffet begins at 5:30 PM and features beef burgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, slow-smoked pulled pork, seasonal sides, chips, and soda. First pitch is at 6:30 PM, enjoy classic Yankees-Mets rivalry action as the Patriots host the Mets’ Double-A affiliate. Picnic seating is followed by stadium seating. Arrive early to find your spot.
